What is medical esthetics?

Medical esthetics goes beyond relaxation-focused spa facials. It uses medical-grade products and advanced clinical technology — such as laser, IPL, microneedling, and professional chemical peels — to treat real skin concerns: acne, pigmentation, scarring, fine lines, and unwanted hair. Treatments are performed by a certified medical esthetician and are based on a proper skin analysis, not a one-size-fits-all menu.

Does microneedling hurt?

Most clients are pleasantly surprised by how comfortable it is. A topical numbing cream is applied beforehand, and most people describe the sensation as a mild prickling or vibration. Afterwards, your skin will look and feel a bit like a mild sunburn for 24–48 hours, which is a normal part of the healing and collagen-building process.

How many sessions will I need?

It depends on your skin and your goals. A single facial delivers an immediate glow, while corrective treatments work cumulatively: microneedling, chemical peels, IPL, and laser hair removal typically involve a series of 3–6 sessions spaced a few weeks apart. At your consultation you will receive a personalized plan with a realistic number of sessions and clear pricing.

How should I care for my skin after a treatment?

Aftercare is simple but important. Keep skin clean and moisturized, wear SPF daily, and avoid active ingredients such as retinoids and exfoliating acids, as well as saunas, hot yoga, and intense workouts for 24–72 hours depending on the treatment. You will receive specific written aftercare instructions at every appointment, matched to the treatment you had.

Is laser hair removal safe for my skin type?

Modern laser technology can safely treat a wide range of skin tones. Suitability is assessed at your consultation, where settings are customized to your skin and hair type and a small patch test is performed before your first full session. Be sure to mention recent sun exposure or tanning, as treated skin should not be freshly tanned.

Are treatments suitable for sensitive skin?

Often, yes — with the right approach. Many treatments can be adjusted for sensitive or reactive skin, and gentle options such as LED light therapy are well tolerated by almost everyone. Your consultation includes a review of your skin history and any contraindications, and a patch test is performed whenever appropriate.

What happens at my first visit?

Your first visit starts with a consultation: a skin analysis, a conversation about your concerns and goals, and a review of anything that might affect treatment. From there, you receive a personalized plan with honest recommendations. There is never any pressure to book treatments on the spot.

How do I book an appointment?
